How did I get into real estate?

I didn’t think I wanted to be in real estate. I loved car sales. I loved the environment. Just couldn’t handle the hours with a baby. But I kept in regular contact with one of my clients, as a person in sales should. He kept telling me real estate is where I belonged.
I will always credit him for getting me into real estate. He’s taught me quite a bit, and even got me started in property management, which I’m not sure if I love or hate him for… but what I’ve learned over the years and as I’ve grown is that everyone in life is given an opportunity. It’s what you do with it that matters.
I’d like to think I knocked the opportunity out of the part and ran with it. I’ve far exceeded even my own expectations in this career and it’s truly amazing and humbling.
I couldn’t do this, and I wouldn’t love this though without my great clients. The owners of the properties I manage are amazing. The clients who allow me to help them buy or sell are absolutely wonderful. Even the tenants I have are mostly great. Grateful doesn’t even begin to describe how I feel about each person who has given me the opportunity to help them with real estate.
It’s not an easy career (even if some days it may seem.) It’s not for those who aren’t driven. It’s not for those unwilling to put in WORK. But this career is incredibly rewarding in endless ways.
